SIERRA CITY — Sierra County residents may attend a candidates forum for the District 2 Supervisor position next week. The event is scheduled for Tuesday, April 28, 6:30 PM, at the Sierra City Community Hall located at 14 Castagna Alley. Three candidates are running in the nonpartisan primary election on June 2 to fill the seat being vacated by incumbent Lila Heuer.
Bryan Davey, Sonya Z. Meline, and Michael L. Ostrom will have the opportunity to present their visions for the county. The forum, paid for by the Sierra County Democrats as a community service, maintains a neutral atmosphere. Audience members are asked not to bring or wear any campaign materials. Light refreshments will be provided, and everyone is welcome to participate and become informed before casting their ballots.
