How to Train Your Dragon comes to life as never before as Director Dean DeBlois, the creative visionary behind the acclaimed franchise, turns his beloved animated 2010 film into a stunning live-action spectacle. The special effects and computer-generated imagery blend with live action to create a fantastic viewing experience. How to Train Your Dragon was awarded Rotten Tomatoes’ Golden Tomato Award for Fan Favorite Family Movie.
The story takes place on the rugged isle of Berk, where Vikings and dragons have been battling for generations. Hiccup, the inventive but overlooked son of Viking Chief Stoick the Vast, defies centuries of tradition when he befriends Toothless, a feared Night Fury dragon. Their unlikely bond reveals the true nature of dragons, challenging the very foundation of Viking society. As an ancient evil emerges, endangering both Vikings and dragons, Hiccup’s friendship with Toothless becomes the key to forging a new future.
