Semi-Truck Overturns in Central Marysville
Crews cleared State Route 20 after a collision blocked lanes for hours at 9th and B intersection.

MARYSVILLE — A semi-truck overturned in Marysville on May 13. The crash took place at the intersection of 9th and B streets along State Route 20 shortly before 11 AM. Caltrans District 3 first reported the vehicle collision at 10:50 AM and confirmed the wreck blocked the number two lane.
Officials from the Marysville Police Department, California Highway Patrol, and Caltrans arrived at the scene. Caltrans alerts noted no fuel leak from the vehicle. A report from the Appeal-Democrat indicated the semi-truck was carrying cherries, but authorities have released no information about any cargo spill. The Appeal also spoke with a witness who said the truck appeared to flip while making a turn.
No injuries have been reported from the crash. The driver has not been publicly identified, and Marysville police continue to investigate the cause.

Crews worked to upright the overturned truck and clear the roadway. Caltrans announced the full reopening of State Route 20 at 1:08 PM. State Route 70 remained open throughout the response, with traffic diverted around the affected area.
