Three Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 174

COLFAX — CAL FIRE NEU firefighters responded this morning to a two-vehicle collision on Highway 174 at Dinkey Avenue in Colfax. Firefighters from engines E2353 and E2396 found both vehicles with moderate damage upon arrival. For one vehicle, extrication was required to free three occupants.
Engine crews provided care for one person with minor injuries and two people with moderate injuries. All were transported rapidly to designated hospitals. Emergency units cleared the scene after the patients left. The crash caused temporary disruption to traffic on Highway 174 during the response.
