K-9 Alert Leads to Four-Pound Methamphetamine Seizure
Three people face felony narcotics charges after a Tuesday night traffic stop.

LINDA — A Yuba County Sheriff’s deputy pulled a vehicle over in the area of Erle Road in Linda at about 8:47 PM Tuesday after observing multiple vehicle code violations. Sheriff’s Office K-9 Primo conducted a free-air sniff of the vehicle during the stop and alerted to the presence of narcotics. Deputies then seized four pounds of suspected methamphetamine and arrested three people on felony narcotics charges, the Sheriff’s Office announced.
The suspected methamphetamine was packaged in multiple bundles, according to the agency. Deputies also recovered a digital scale, suspected narcotics paraphernalia, and what the Sheriff’s Office described as a significant amount of United States currency. Based on the quantity of the drugs, the packaging, and the other evidence recovered, deputies believe the methamphetamine was being transported for the purpose of sale.
All three were booked into the Yuba County Jail. Kameron Clifton Hildenbrand, 51, of Oregon House, and Kylie Till, 47, of Marysville each face charges of possession of methamphetamine for sale, transportation of methamphetamine, and conspiracy. Milo Rick Acosta Senior, 52, of Marysville faces the same three charges and an additional count of possession of narcotics paraphernalia.
Jail records set bail at $150,000 for each of the three and show they were booked between 12:54 AM and 3:23 AM Wednesday. The records list the arrest location as Erle Road at Edgewater Circle in Linda.
K-9 Primo, a German shorthaired pointer, arrived in Yuba County in January and is trained to detect heroin, cocaine, methamphetamine, and fentanyl, the Appeal-Democrat reported. He has figured in at least one earlier narcotics case: in March, deputies with the Sheriff’s Office Problem Oriented Policing team stopped a vehicle on Highway 70, and an alert by Primo led them to more than half a pound of cocaine. Julian Ayala, 26, of Palermo was arrested in the March case on charges related to the possession and transportation of narcotics for sale.
