Naomi Josephine McDaniel

Naomi Josephine McDaniel passed away on June 19, 2026. She was 93 years old.

Memorial Services will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026, at 10:30 AM at Hooper & Weaver Mortuary, 459 Hollow Way, Nevada City. Burial will follow at Pike Cemetery with a reception at Pike City Fire House.

Naomi was born on May 4, 1933, in Fay, Oklahoma. She married Bobby McDaniel in 1951. They had five children: Regie McDaniel, Britt McDaniel, twin daughters Linda Lewis and Rhonda MacPherson, and Thomas McDaniel. They had 12 grandchildren and were blessed with great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. They bought property in Pike in 1967, built a house, and raised their children there.

Naomi will be missed by all.

Naomi is survived by her sons Regie McDaniel and Britt (Margie) McDaniel, and her daughter Rhonda MacPherson.

Naomi is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby J. McDaniel; daughter, Linda Lewis; son, Thomas McDaniel; son-in-law, Jerry Lewis; daughter-in-law, Debi McDaniel; and grandson, Regie McDaniel.
