08:47 - Request for assistance at Indian Valley Campground.
09:47 - Report of theft on a mining claim near Alleghany.
10:59 - Report of a possibly confused elderly person in Loyalton.
11:52 - Report of disturbing the peace near Loyalton.
15:17 - Ambulance requested in Downieville.
15:29 - Report of an abandoned campfire nearly causing a forest fire in the Verdi area.

18:20 - Two dogs were found on Dog Valley Road near Crystal Peak. They ran away, and deputies were unable to locate them.
18:24 - Report of electricity theft in Loyalton. The suspect was admonished.

08:03 - Report of a bear breaking into the basement of a Downieville residence. Fish and Wildlife was notified.
08:45 - Request for assistance with a probation search in Downieville.
10:46 - Ambulance requested in Loyalton.
12:53 - Report of a dog at large in Downieville. The owner was contacted and retrieved the dog.
13:47 - Report of someone posing as a Sierra County deputy “questioning people as to why they haven’t reported for jury duty.”
14:15 - Report of a lost cat in Loyalton.
15:48 - Request for assistance with a probation search in Downieville.
16:31 - Information provided that a Washoe County helicopter would be flying in the Peavine area.
16:47 - Report of a dispute in Pike. No deputy assistance was required.
20:47 - Report of someone possibly committing suicide in Australia. Law enforcement from the correct jurisdiction was contacted.
Friday, May 29
08:13 - Someone was arrested on a Sierra County warrant.
08:35 - Report of financial elder abuse in Downieville.
09:11 - Accidental 9-1-1 call from the Downieville area.
12:45 - Crash with injuries on Highway 49 at Depot Hill. The Sacramento Highway Patrol, Downieville Ambulance, and Forest Service responded.
13:29 - Request for deputies to be on the lookout for a speeding motorcyclist near Loyalton. Deputies were unable to locate the rider.
14:01 - Report of someone disturbing the peace in Sierra City.
17:40 - Lift assist requested in Sattley.
19:52 - Request for a welfare check on subjects with a broken-down vehicle in Sierraville. A deputy was unable to locate the vehicle.
21:18 - Report of smoke near Goodyears Bar. A deputy checked but saw no smoke.
21:40 - A deputy responded as backup for the Plumas County Sheriff’s Office in Portola.
22:15 - Ambulance requested at the Sierra Nevada Field Campus.
Saturday, May 30
08:44 - Report of possible bear poaching near Alleghany. An investigation was opened.
11:05 - Report of a homeless encampment near Bordertown. The Forest Service was notified.
17:15 - Lift assist requested in Loyalton.
18:43 - A caller had questions about shooting on Forest Service land near Sierraville. The caller was advised of the applicable regulations.
19:23 - Report of an overdue party somewhere between Rocklin and Susanville. Documentation was written.
19:45 - A deputy came across an unattended campfire near Stampede Reservoir. The responsible campers were admonished.
Sunday, May 31
09:54 - Loyalton Fire was requested to assist with a vegetation fire in Plumas County.
10:01 - A toddler in Loyalton went to a neighbor’s house without permission. The juvenile was safely returned home.
11:56 - Report of shots fired on a forest service road.
16:31 - An iPhone reported a motor vehicle accident on Highway 49 near Bassets. Emergency services were unable to locate the vehicle.
19:06 - A deputy found a cow in the roadway near Loyalton. The owner retrieved the cow.
20:41 - Report of a cow on Highway 49 near Loyalton. The owner could not be contacted, so the Highway Patrol was notified.
