12:57 - Accidental 911 call from near Camptonville. No emergency.
13:07 - Request for agency assistance with a probation search in Downieville.
13:28 - Report of a trailer blocking traffic near Pike. CHP was notified.
19:13 - Ambulance requested on Smithneck Road.
23:43 - Lift assist requested in Downieville.
Thursday, July 2
11:18 - Report of a civil dispute at the 16 to 1 Mine.
11:28 - Report of a bear problem near Verdi. Fish and Wildlife was contacted.
12:48 - Report of a verbal altercation at Emigrant Group Campground. Deputies were unable to locate those involved.
13:47 - Report of a dog on the highway in front of the Sierraville Post Office. CHP was notified.
17:07 - Report of harassment in Loyalton. A deputy contacted the caller, provided information on obtaining a restraining order, and planned future area checks.
18:22 - Report of a subject harassing juveniles and the caller in Downieville. The caller spoke with a deputy and received advice for future contacts.
18:36 - Report of possible illegal campfires in Mitchell Canyon. A deputy was unable to locate any fires but planned to continue checking the area.
19:24 - Report of a solo non-injury vehicle accident after a vehicle swerved off the roadway due to a deer. Truckee CHP handled the incident.
20:07 - Report of a dog bite involving a small juvenile at Logger Campground. A deputy contacted all parties, and a report was taken.
22:18 - Report of possible illegal campers at the Dearwater Airport parking lot. A deputy contacted the subjects and found they were legally camping on public land with no fires.
Friday, July 3
02:36 - Several 911 calls reported a possible physical fight between a couple at Campbell Hot Springs Campground. A deputy contacted the parties and found no signs of a physical fight, only a verbal argument.
08:11 - A subject was arrested on a Sierra County warrant in Plumas County.
08:25 - Report of a family fight in Sierraville. Deputies found only a verbal altercation, and both parties agreed to avoid further argument.
09:13 - Report of a found cargo container rack and license plate in the middle of the Highway 89/49 intersection in Sierraville.
09:44 - Report of an illegal campfire. It was found to be on private property and not in violation of current fire restrictions.
17:28 - Report of a civil dispute in Alleghany involving items that had not been returned. The caller was advised it was a civil matter.
18:15 - Information reported that a Girl Scout campground at Treasure Mountain Campground would have a large barbecue in case the public called about an active fire.
18:38 - Report of juveniles jumping from Durgan Flat Bridge in Downieville. Deputies contacted the juveniles and admonished them about the laws against jumping from bridges.
19:26 - A deputy issued a fire permit to a citizen.
19:48 - Citation issued and report taken for illegal camping near North Yuba Bridge and failure to obey a lawful order.
20:16 - Traffic stop conducted on unregistered vehicles riding on a county road near Verdi. Citations were issued.
20:20 - Report of a cargo box left on the side of the roadway near Highway 49 and South Lincoln Street in Sierraville. A call was left with the possible owner.
20:35 - Report of gunshots in the residential area of Wild Plum. Deputies were unable to locate the source or anyone in distress.
21:40 - Accidental 911 call from an open line. A deputy searched the area and found no one in distress.
Saturday, July 4
05:35 - Ambulance requested in Loyalton.
06:36 - Deputies assisted and participated in the Loyalton Fourth of July parade.
06:36 - Sierra County deputies assisted and participated in the Downieville Fourth of July parade.
08:30 - Ambulance requested in Loyalton.
11:20 - Accidental 911 dial in Loyalton.
14:47 - Accidental 911 dial near Calpine.
15:23 - Report of a physical altercation in Downieville. After investigation, a subject was arrested.
15:56 - Report of an illegal camper near Long Valley.
17:01 - Report of a motorcycle accident with unknown injuries on Highway 49 near Love Falls. Sierra City Fire Department, Downieville Ambulance, and a deputy responded. The driver was transported to a hospital, and CHP handled the crash.
17:26 - Accidental 911 call from an open line. Deputies searched the area, located the caller, and found no one needed assistance.
18:14 - Report of juveniles jumping off Durgan Flat Bridge in Downieville. Juveniles were educated by a deputy.
18:46 - A deputy came upon an illegal barbecue outside recreation sites. The parties agreed to turn it off and leave it off for the rest of their stay.
19:12 - Open 911 line with no signs of distress. A deputy searched the area and found no one in need of assistance.
19:15 - Found property located in Downieville. The owner later retrieved the items from the Sheriff’s Office.
19:18 - Found property turned in to the Sheriff’s Office in Downieville. The owner retrieved the items shortly afterward.
20:12 - Ambulance requested in Loyalton.
21:03 - Report of illegal campers and an illegal campfire at Ramshorn. Tahoe Forest Service and a deputy contacted the parties, who packed up and went to an actual campground.
22:34 - Report of a tree in the middle of Ridge Road just east of Pike. An off-duty CHP officer removed it from the roadway, and the Sierra County Road Department was to be notified for minimal cleanup.

09:42 - Report of a hiker needing assistance getting back to Downieville.
11:11 - Request for a property check in Downieville.
11:28 - Report of a possibly abandoned fawn in Sierra City.
11:51 - Text to 911 requesting citizen assistance with a disabled vehicle near Webber Lake.
13:48 - Request for citizen assistance with a tow truck near Webber Lake.
14:04 - Ambulance requested in Downieville.
14:17 - Report of a calf on Highway 49 near Sierraville.

18:43 - Report of a possible wolf sighting near Loyalton. A deputy searched the area and was unable to locate a wolf. Fish and Wildlife was informed.
