Vote for Sonya Meline!

Voters in Supervisor District 2 have an important decision to make regarding the effective governance of our county. This race has three candidates and I was able to attend both candidate forums held in Loyalton and Sierra City. Sonya Meline recognizes that this district has three distinct areas, Sierra City, the Sierra Valley Senior Apartments, and Verdi/Long Valley. To determine the needs of each distinct area, she designed separate surveys to guide her work as a Supervisor. This is the kind of innovation that we need on the Board of Supervisors.

Sonya Meline's dedication to public service started with enlisting in the Navy and continues as a volunteer in our local nonprofits such as Sierra Frontier Medical Resources, the fire auxiliary and chamber of commerce organizations. She and her husband, Mike, are Downieville businessowners and employers.

It is clear that Meline is the only candidate that has plans to increase our economic growth while preserving our historic heritage. Sonya is the right candidate with the curiosity, energy and spirit to move Sierra County forward.
